THE ULTIMATE WAY TO EXPLORE THE ARCTIC
Nature is not a place we visit but a system we are part of, and as this system varies we also have to do so. This tour will take you into the Arctic wonders, adapting to any condition, for an unforgettable experience!
Being a private tour, it can be adapted to your needs and wishes, allowing for a more personal experience!Overlanding on board of a capable 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, we will reach some of the most beautiful areas that Tromsø region has to offer.
The itinerary may vary from season and day to day: based on weather conditions, we might discover the sandy beaches and deep fjords of the coastal islands, or the backcountry sceneries of the mainland. Once left the roads we will venture for either a scenic walk or a light hike (you decide!), reaching untouched landscapes, mountain lakes and breathtaking views.
When the ground will be covered in ice or snow (*winter season), you will be provided with ice crampons or snow rackets, walking poles and thermal suits, as well as foot and hand warmers. Remember to have your own waterproof hiking boots (snow boots in winter)!
Your guide will take photos of you and the landscape, but if you have a camera as well, bring it along!
A warm soup for lunch, cookies and hot drinks for dessert will warm us up while out in the wild Arctic!

The region of Tromsø offers a wide variety of landscapes, from endless ocean views funneling into narrow fjords, leading all the way to vast highlands. Wherever you’ll point your eyes though, the rugged Arctic mountains will be a constant presence. The weather is often harsh up here, changing several times a day, and making your decision of which activity to book quite difficult. With this tour you will enjoy the outdoors in any condition, with an experienced guide and the flexibility of a private tour, for a more personal experience!

For kids younger than 13 or shorter than 150 cm - 59 inches please specify this in the booking form so we can provide you with the correct car booster seat for them
Thermal suits available in adult sizes only, XS is the smallest available. If you are travelling with kids you must have your own appropriate clothing for them
This tour is not suitable for people with any injury, sickness, movement disability, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches.
