HOW DOES THE ARCTIC LOOK LIKE?

You can’t travel all the way this far North just to chase the Northern Lights.
There’s so much more to see and feel: Pure, Wild Nature. 
Do you like hiking, exploring, no matter the weather?
This tour will take you into the Arctic wonders, for an unforgettable experience!

The itinerary does vary from season and day to day: based on weather conditions we might discover the sandy beaches and deep fjords of the coastal islands or the backcountry sceneries of the mainland. But wait a moment! It's from here that the fun starts! 

Once left the roads we will venture for a scenic walk - easy hike (depending on the group level of fitness), reaching untouched landscapes, mountain lakes and breathtaking views. When the ground will be covered in ice or snow (*winter season), you will be provided with ice crampons or snow rackets, walking poles & thermal suits, as well as foot and hand warmers. Remember to have your own waterproof hiking boots (*snow boots in winter)! 

Your guide will take photos of you and the landscape, but if you have a camera as well, bring it along!

An outdoor picnic with a view made of warm soup, cookies and hot drinks will warm us up while out in the wild Arctic, leaving a meaningful memory in you.

The region of Tromsø offers a wide variety of landscapes, from endless ocean views funneling into narrow fjords, leading all the way to vast highlands. Wherever you’ll point your eyes though, the rugged Arctic mountains will be a constant presence. The weather is often harsh up here, changing several times a day, and making your decision of which activity to book quite difficult. With this tour you will enjoy the outdoors in any condition, with an experienced guide and the flexibility of an extra small group, for a more personal experience!

• Extra small group of maximum 6 participants!
• Make sure to read “Tour Clothing & Equipment Checklist” page to be prepared for the tour!
• Age of the participants: minimum 13 maximum 65

• For kids younger than 13 or shorter than 150 cm - 59 inches you must enquire or click here for private option

• You must be in good physical shape to walk on uneven terrain that may be snowy, icy, wet and slippery
  

• This tour is not suitable for elderly participants, pregnant women, people with any injury, sickness, movement disability, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches. It is an active tour!
